Not an origin story.

My name is Julian Strayhorn II, and I'm a designer and illustrator living in Sandy Springs, Georgia. I am very passionate about design, and each day I roll out of bed with the desire to make something really eye-catching.  Swimming, cosplaying, video games, travel, dog life and spending time with my family are my favorites when I’m not sketching or creating vector shapes.

PHILOSOPHY

My work is driven by Product Thinking: translating complex user problems into clean, modular, and scalable design systems. I design with the understanding that robust components save time, build brand trust, and minimize future technical debt.

System & Utility

I focus on high-fidelity execution. Visuals must be strategic and distinct—not just polished. I use vector-based, brand-led aesthetics to ensure products are memorable and differentiated in crowded markets.

Visual Craft

I leverage my expertise to drive cultural impact, particularly within the Blerd community. I advocate for authentic representation, knowing that design decisions can either silence or amplify a diverse user base.
